There’s a chef in Madrid who’s making waves not just for his impressive culinary skills, but for his unique approach to gastronomy. Luis Centenera, a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu and holder of a master’s degree in hospitality management and restaurant businesses, is the founder of Contacto Cocina, a revolutionary gastronomic coworking space in Madrid.

But that’s not all. Prior to launching his business, Centenera worked at DiverXO alongside the celebrated Dabiz Muñoz and later as a Catering Manager for a Madrid-based catering company. Today, in addition to managing his business, he collaborates with food sector brands, gives cooking lessons, and has appeared on the popular Spanish series «La Marquesa”, sharing with her friend Tamara Falcó the responsibility of creating a unique menu for the palace pop up restaurant.

Perhaps one of the most fascinating aspects of Centenera’s work is his role as the go-to culinary coach for celebrities competing on MasterChef Spain. He has trained notable personalities like David Bustamante, Yotuel, Boris Izaguirre, Manu Baqueiro, Isabelle Junot and Mario Vaquerizo, to name a few.

Despite his packed schedule, Centenera still finds time to create and share beginner-friendly recipes on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, with one of his TikTok recipes nearing one million views.

In the world of gastronomy, where many chefs opt to open a restaurant, Centenera’s path is a unique blend of culinary excellence, entrepreneurial drive, and a passion for sharing his knowledge with a wider audience. His story is a testament to the fact that sometimes, the most delicious success comes from thinking outside the box.
