Angela Omaña Lelo de Larrea is a popular Mexican culinary content creator on social media, known for her creativity and good taste in the kitchen. In this interview, Angela shares her journey, experience on social media, brand collaborations, and social work.

Can you tell us about your journey and how you became a content creator in the culinary world?

My passion for cooking started when I was very young. I grew up watching my grandmother and mother in the kitchen and learned a lot from them. As I grew older, I started experimenting with different flavors and ingredients, and eventually began sharing my recipes and tips on social media. It has been an incredible journey, and I am grateful for every opportunity I have had to share my love for cooking with others.

Your social media platforms, @angelatastyblog on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, have a large following. What do you think sets your content apart from others in the same field?

I believe what sets me apart is my ability to combine different flavors and presentations in a unique and appealing way. I also make an effort to connect with my followers and create a friendly and approachable environment on my platforms. I want everyone to feel welcome and inspired to try new things in the kitchen.

You have worked with major brands such as Nestlé, Liverpool, Starbucks, and others. How has your experience been collaborating with these companies?

It has been a great experience working with these companies. I feel honored that they trust me to represent their brands and create content that resonates with their audiences. It has also been an opportunity for growth and learning new things about the culinary world.

You have also been involved in social work, specifically as the Head of the Department for At-Risk Youth and Children at the state level. How has this experience impacted you?

It has been incredibly rewarding to contribute to the development and well-being of those who need it most. It is a reminder that there are always opportunities to use our talents and resources to help others, and it is something I am passionate about.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to pursue a career in the culinary world?

My advice would be to never stop learning and experimenting. There are so many different cuisines and ingredients out there, and it’s important to always be open to new ideas and flavors. It is also important to be authentic and true to oneself, both in the kitchen and in one’s brand.

What is in store for your future and your content creation journey?

I am excited to continue creating new and delicious recipes to share with my followers and to collaborate with brands that align with my values and vision. I am also passionate about social work, and I hope to continue contributing to the development and well-being of those who need it most. There is always more to learn and discover, and I am excited to see where this journey takes me.
