Born on April 15, 1981, with 41 years, Roger Romero Martinez is a plastic/aesthetic surgeon graduated from the General Hospital Dr. Manuel Gea Gonzalez.

After finishing his residency in general surgery, he was invited by a Brazilian plastic surgeon to join his team. The doctor was Ivo Pitanguy, a Brazilian surgeon, considered the father of modern aesthetic surgery.

Pitanguy’s interest in plastic and reconstructive surgery appeared because of the disharmony people felt in relation to their image as a result of some injuries that were considered minor but with the power to create a certain inferiority complex. As he moved forward in his incredible training career, he took on more complex cases such as surgeries on people who lacked resources and needed body repair to live harmoniously in society. In 2003, despite his advanced age, he continued his activity in the clinic that bears his name, a center where the best plastic surgeons in the world have been trained with the values and ideas that he promulgated.

Thanks to his studies and everything he learned from his experience with Dr. Pitanguy, Roger created a new aesthetic technique known as Roger’s triangle. It consists of doing a liposuction in the back with fewer incisions than the other techniques allowing a smaller waist and a more projected buttock.

He currently resides in the city of Matamoros, Tamaulipas and his dream is to give back what he learned by sharing his experience to surgeons in training. If you would like to contact him or know more about his work, you can find him on instagram as @dr.rogerromero.
